STERITALC® sterile medical grade talcum powder for pleurodesis

Medical grade talc, mined in France, for treatment in the case of malignant pleural effusion or pneumothorax.

It is insoluble and induces permanent pleurodesis. Talc pleurodesis is more effective and less painful than tetracyclines.

Granulometrically modified sterile talc, with nominal particle size of 28µm, both asbestos and endotoxin-free.

The only talc-based product with a proven record of safety and efficacy.

Steritalc has been studied/researched extensively with more than 21 clinical studies from 16 countries involving 2,486 patients over 25 years.

Following are the Steritalc products currently on offer in ANZ:

- PF3 (3g dose) with delivery cannula and single use insufflation bulb (sold in boxes of 2 units per box).

- PF4 (4g dose) vials only (sold in boxes of 4 units per box).
